I am an avid writer and enjoy getting creative with my writing, but I have to admit that I don’t write as fast as I can when I am sitting down at my desk. I have been known to write while working out. This is probably what kept me from writing a book while I was working out.

I think that for most writers that sit down to write, the first thing that they do is lay out their outline. This is a list of every element that they need to include in the story. As you are writing, you are laying it out in your mind. You are not simply typing in a list. Now, when I am writing something, I don’t have to worry about what I am going to write, I just write.

I do have a few ideas about where to put the paper on my desk, but if you have one of these paper items, you will probably start with the paper on the left. That is, the left portion of the left side of the paper is on the right.
