This is a great way to get feedback for the topic you’re writing. It’s the only way you can get feedback for your work or site. It can be a great way to encourage people to write and post a bit more, or to go off of your high-level goals.

The best advice I can give would be to write your fanfic/fanart in a forum, not a blog. Writing fanfics and fanarts are hard to judge, because it is very subjective and hard to judge if the fanart/fanfic is good or bad. Fanfics are a very subjective and personal experience. There are a lot of different styles and genres out there, and most of them are just as good as the others. But, there are so many great styles out there that anyone can pick up if they are willing to try.
So before you start writing fanfic, you need to ask yourself: “Am I going to enjoy writing this? Will I enjoy this style?” Then after you’ve decided you DO enjoy writing fanfic, you can start to write it. Fanfic is a genre that is growing faster than most other genres, and that is because so many of us are getting better at it than we were many years ago. This is a great time to be a writer.
